How Can We Understand the World Through Stories?
“Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world” - Robert Mckee

This year our class will be exploring a BIG question... How Can We Understand the World Through Stories?  We will be using student interests to further our understandings around this inquiry.  Learning to be confident, to ask questions, to take risks, to think outside the box, and to work with others will be some of our goals we will strive towards this year.

We have the opportunity to move our classroom to to the Central Library for an entire week as part of Campus Calgary, from September 30-October 4, 2019.  During these 5 days we will be exploring how we can understand the world through stories.  The Library will guide our inquiry and create spaces for us to learn about the world's stories.

This exciting adventure requires significant volunteer support from you, our parent community.  Ideally we would have 4-5 volunteers join us each day at the Library.  If you are able to join us for any of the days, please email Mrs. Cooper with the date(s) you would like to volunteer.

First day of Library School.  We explored the first 2 floors and learned a bit about how it was built.  We were introduced to the section of the library that has all the old media that tells the history of Calgary.
