We watched a video about Terry Fox today in preparation for the Terry Fox run tomorrow. Students should dress in comfortable clothing for the run in the afternoon. We talked about bringing a toonie for Terry tomorrow as well. After hearing about Terry Fox's goal to run across Canada, we examined a map of Canada and started to color the map. Ask your child what they know about the provinces and territories in Canada.
We are almost done our Annne of Green Gables read aloud. Ask your child to tell you about some of the trouble Anne has gotten into in the book Anne of Green Gables.
Students were excited to start some coding on the computer today. The website we used was: code.org. This is a free website that students can access at home.
